This article explains the delivery process for all of your Kit needed for your installation.
This article contains information on:
- Kit deliveries when you have a drive
- Kit deliveries when you do not have a drive
- How your kit will be packaged
- Delivery Timings
Batteries and panels normally come on a pallet. This should be put on or near your house/drive. The driver comes with a tail lift and pallet truck and if you have the right material drive and it is not too much of a slope, the driver should be able to place this where you would like it.
If you do not have a suitable drive or no drive at all, the delivery driver will have to leave any pallets on the kerbside. This is because, unfortunately, the delivery drivers are not insured to help you move your items and may be unable to do so. If this does happen, we do not expect you to take responsibility for the items that cannot be moved to a secure location.
Other items may be on top of the panels/batteries. They are shipped with a wrapping cling film which may not be watertight. Other items could come via a courier such as DPD or Tufnell's, and these companies can split your delivery. Please take note of the number of parcels you have versus what the parcel says in order to confirm that all have arrived- for example, parcel 2 of 4.
The aluminium rail that mounts your panels are 3.3 metres long and is often bundled together, but can also be split into two packs. Completing your kit check with us is vital to ensuring you have everything you need, and you can find out some more about that in our article here but if you do have any queries, you can reach out to our kit team at kit@makemyhousegreen.com with any queries regarding your deliveries.
Please note that the timings for the deliveries cannot be confirmed exactly and can be delivered anytime from 8am-6pm. Someone will need to be home to accept deliveries of the pallet items.
