The kit is usually delivered around a week before installation, this article explains where to store it all!
The electrical items will take up a corner of a room if you do not have outside storage for them. All other items such as panels and mounting equipment (including rail) will not be damaged by being stored outside.
The panels can stay on the pallet they arrive on. If you wish to move the panels off the pallet, please lift these with at least two people and do not lift these as they are a large size and difficult to handle on your own.
The panels can be stored on their side or stacked on their back, as they were on the pallet. Please make sure that they will not be blown over. Although they are toughened glass, they can still break.
Where possible, please bring in or store undercover, anything that looks electrical rather than mounting for the roof- such as inverters, batteries, isolators and the Emlite meter. A tarpaulin or other waterproof cover should be sufficient if you cannot move the items however storing these inside is preferable.
