Maintaining Above 20% Charge:
In the world of cold weather battery care, keeping your battery above 20% charge is a golden rule. In colder regions, batteries tend to lose charge faster, so it's crucial to keep a close eye on their levels.

Its a great idea to top up your battery from the grid overnight to keep it within the optimal range, this is particularly useful when you are on a cheaper overnight rate! Know Your Optimal Temperature Zones:
Pylontech batteries come with specific temperature recommendations for charging and discharging.

For charging, aim for batteries to maintain temperatures between 0-°C to 50°C. Similarly, during usage, stick to the range of -10°C to 50°C for safe discharging.

Suggestions for Insulation Solutions:
Combatting extreme cold? Exploring insulation options can help regulate temperature swings and prevent temperature-related alarms. Look into safe temporary insulation solutions or contact the manufacturer for further information on recommended resources dedicated to cold climate battery care.

Another way to help with temperatures is to ensure the space where your batteries reside is properly insulated. This might mean adding insulation in the loft, sealing gaps in the garage, or upgrading to an insulated garage door to stabilise temperatures.

By following these tips and strategies, you can shield your batteries from the winter chill and ensure they perform at their peak. Remember, staying proactive and informed is key to maximizing battery lifespan and efficiency.
